How To Enter
Entering is simple
Garden retailers and their suppliers are welcome to enter the Awards for what they have achieved in the eligibility period from 1 July 2009 – 18 June 2010.
Entries will be judged by a panel of expert judges in August/September. Shortlisted entries will also be announced in September. Please note that if you made an entry into the 2009 Awards, you are not allowed to re-enter the same project in 2010, unless you are able to evidence greater success through improvements to business performance or customer service evaluation, for instance.
To enter you will need to:
- Fill in the entry form
- Provide ten copies of your entry summary (see How to write your entry summary below) outlining the nature of your achievement and the reasons why you should be considered for an Award
- Provide six good quality photographs (min 300 dpi and min 20 cm wide) or other pictorial evidence of your work
- Provide one copy of other relevant supporting material – financial data, testimonials, brochures etc
- Include your payment for the entry (see entry fee information) - Entry is FREE to HTA members
- Send in your entry by the closing date - DEADLINE EXTENDED - 20TH JULY
How to write your entry summary
The entry summary is your opportunity to explain what it is that you have achieved. Your summary, which should be no more than 700 words, should include the following:
- Objective and challenge faced
- Solution and methods
- Results
